Barbara Ruth is a poet, memoirist and photographer living in San Jose, California. She was San Diego County coordinator of California Poets In the Schools. In 2014 she was a writer-activist at the national gathering of Old Lesbians Organizing for Change. Her work has appeared in Sinister Wisdom, Yellow Chair Review, Postcard Poems and Prose and Neuroqueer, and is widely anthologized in feminist, gay and lesbian and disability collections.
Valorie Grace Hallinan’s writing has appeared in Origins, Great Lakes Review, Verse-Virtual, Library Journal, and other publications. A former medical librarian and editor of books for children and young adults, Valorie believes books can save a life and founded a blog by that name. She has a BA in English and Master’s degree in broadcast communications and library science.
Richard King Perkins II is a state-sponsored advocate for residents in long-term care facilities. He lives in Crystal Lake, IL, USA with his wife, Vickie, and daughter, Sage. He is a three-time Pushcart nominee and a Best of the Net nominee whose work has appeared in more than a thousand publications.
Krista Cox lives with two precious patience-testers (children) and works with three of them (lawyers) in northern Indiana. Her poetry has recently appeared in Stirring, Words Dance, cahoodaloodaling, Rogue Agent, and Menacing Hedge, and she was the recipient of the Lester M. Wolfson Student Award in Poetry in 2015.
